EOQ Charter:

EOQ contributes to the development of European Organizations and enterprises through the application of quality and change management concepts and techniques in their broadest sense.

The end goal is progress and development of European individuals and European Society as a whole.

EOQ believes that an enlarged Europe with diverse cultures and economical histories is an opportunity for the success of all Europeans.

EOQ contributes to the development of new concepts and techniques and to the enhancement of existing skills and competencies. EOQ contributes to the development of the network of Quality Organizations.

members are organizations which are committed, through a significant part of their activity, to promote quality at national, European or international level. They are not-for-profit organizations and share the present charter as well as statutes of EOQ.

EOQ is a worldwide leader in the development and management of quality in its widest meaning.

EOQ is a crossroads of ideas, knowledge, research and information.

EOQ is a key influencer in quality education.

EOQ MISSION:

Improve the European competitiveness through the promotion of European Quality Policy.

Support members in the promotion and deployment of quality management.

Facilitate the development and exchange of information, knowledge and experience in quality theories and techniques.

Creativity, harmonization, communication:

To achieve its missions, the EOQ

• develops and supports new ideas and tools to continually improve management quality through a quality management pattern of thought.

• furthers and harmonizes activities of its FMOs and working units

• organizes annual congresses, seminars and fora, covering new ideas, skills and tools

• supports European Quality- the leading quality management journal in Europe

• participates in and contributes to projects at the European level

• maintains and cultivates contacts with the EC and EFQM and performs activities in co-operation with these organizations

• maintains contacts with other international organizations (American Society for Quality Control, ASQ, Japanese Union of Scientist and Engineers, JUSE etc.)

Today`s EOQ stands for quality service to the European professionals and to their organizations, be they large or small. Coupled with the activities of the European Quality Platform and those generated by the EC, the EOQ finds itself in a truly dynamic phase of development, pro-active in present times and ready for all future challenges.

But the main asset of current EOQ work is still rooted in a long tradition: the good cooperation with its FMOs and their solid support.
Cooperation will help us bring about those global changes and improvements in Quality to which we all aspire.
